Everyone knows that fast food is,
essentially, not really good for you. It is usually very low in nutrients and
rich in calories, Tran’s fats and hydrogenated oils.
So when you're on the run and there is no
other choice but to eat at a fast food joint, but you try to stay healthy or to
stick to your weight loss plan what should I do?
Well, for most fast food places now have
healthier so you can better than you used to be able to stay on track.
For example, chicken sandwich or fish could
be seen as a healthier option that burger, but wait a minute. Which are fish or
chicken patty and deep fried ground? Or if it is blown? If this is a version of
deep fried then more than likely has more calories and "bad fats"
that burger option. However, if the chicken or grilled fish (without skin) you
will do the right thing. Order, it is a good option! Make it healthier by
removing the top half of the bun before eating. Less refined flour with your
meal is less than empty calories to sabotage your goal of losing weight or
health.
Or, if you can get a grilled chicken or
fish wrap instead of a sandwich (try a whole wheat wrap instead of white flour
version), you'll probably wind up with a meal that is mostly vegetables and
lean meat and not much bread. Right on!
If you must have this beef burger, try
ordering a strong lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle and light on the calorie
stuff like sauces, cheese and bacon. And once again, remove the top half of the
bun and you're already eating healthier. If you need condiments, opt for
mustard or ketchup instead of the same "signature special sauce" or
mayonnaise. Mayo and special sauce are usually quite high in calories and bad
fats.
You can even try to order off the kids
menu. Fast food places are usually eat way too big for an adult anyway, you
might find that you meet sizes for children without endless with calories.
Regarding the dishes, do your best to keep
items like deep fried French, fries, onion rings and chicken nuggets. «Anything
deep fried is probably high in calories and will only sabotage even the best
efforts to keep
healthy or low in calories.
What is a salad? But beware, creamy salad
dressings are also quite high in calories and hydrogenated oils. Try something
rather like dressing or even olive oil & vinegar, if it is available.
In fact, when it comes to salads, you can
usually find some kind of option "lean meat salad, grilled nuts" as
an entry? e in fast food these days. So why not skip the burger, sandwich or
wrap completely and one of the most delicious and nutritious salads instead?
And by all means stay away from drinks like
milkshakes and soda pop. They are high in calories, and when it comes to soda
pop, nothing but empty calories completely devoid of any nutrition whatsoever.
If you need a drink, the water will always be your best choice, but coffee and
tea are also options that best milkshakes or soda pop. Just do not add large
amounts of sugar or creamer, or are you just put in the calories you've taken
in choosing the right options.
So the next time you're stuck eating
at a fast food restaurant because there is no other choice (or majority
rules with your friends or colleagues), stick with the healthier options you
are not have to sabotage your goal of losing weight or health.
